TETRALAB - AN EXPERIMENTAL LABORATORY

GENESIS OF A PROJECT...

We have been directing and producing choreographic films for ten years. Faced with the observation of the difficulty, for young artists, to bringing together the means of production in video-dance, the idea of a laboratory where the means and materials are pooled was born. Tetralab is a training course, but also a laboratory conducive to unexpected encounters, wild experimentation and creation.

Tetralab is an annual meeting where various artists from the cinematographic and choreographic fields meet to create innovative and professional quality films. We thus constitute a network in order to promote research and production in video-dance.

THE MAKERS

The Makers are choreographers, videographers, protean artists, undisciplined poets. Makers have a sensibility for the image and the experience of movement, or a sensibility for the movement and the experience of the image, with the desire to work in a team.

THE MOVERS

The Movers are dancers, circus artists, mimes, acrobats and other gesturing bodies. Movers have a taste for experimentation and off-road dancing, with a mad desire to roll on the ground.
